AMTEN Offers Free Phone and Gadget Repairs to Residents of Ile-Ife During Ojo Festival 2026
The Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria (AMTEN), Ife East Branch, Osun State, has organized a two-day free phone and gadget repair programme to support both indigenes and non-indigenes residing in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The initiative is aimed at supporting the people of Ile-Ife and contributing to the celebration of the Ojo Festival 2026, in honour of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.
Beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the opportunity, describing the free repair service as a valuable gesture that helped many people repair their phones and other electronic gadgets at no cost.
The programme was also supported by members of the Ile-Ife Hausa Community, demonstrating cooperation and unity among different communities in Ile-Ife.
The exercise was led by Technician Abiola Jimoh, Chairman of the AMTEN Ife East Branch, under the leadership of Engr. Dr. Technician Rasaki Olanrewaju (Ejalonibu), AMTEN Osun State President.
AMTEN reaffirmed its commitment to using the skills and expertise of its members to support communities, empower technicians and provide meaningful services to the people of Osun State.
The association commended the organizers, technicians, community supporters and all beneficiaries who participated in the two-day programme, wishing the people of Ile-Ife a successful and peaceful Ojo Festival 2026.
